A relatively new concept originally created by Publisher/Photographer Brooks Jensen, a Folio is an unbound collection of unmatted original fine art images, often described as a cross between a book and portfolio. Designed to be hand held, each Folio measures 8.5 by 11 inches, perfect for handling and viewing the images up close. Each Folio contains 10 pages total: Eight images, approximately 6.5" x 6.5" complete with titles, a Title page, and a Table of Contents page which is signed and given an edition number and printing date. All are printed on Museum Quality 100% Cotton rag Fine Art paper using the finest Archival inks available.
Although Folios work best as a “coffee table” unbound book, individual prints can be given as gifts or cropped, matted, and framed alone, in small groups, or as a triptych. In short, you receive fine art prints that you can handle and enjoy much like a book, or crop and frame to
create individual or group wall settings.
Each Folio comes housed in a folio cover cut from Royal Complements 100 lb. acid- and lignin-free paper, manufactured with 30% recycled post-consumer fiber, and is Green Seal and ForestStewardship Council certified. There is a small window, surrounded by an embossed decorative border, on the Cover side that reveals a small image and folio title. All assembly and printing is done by Robert himself. The entire Folio comes enclosed in a crystal clear, resealable, archival strorage envelope.
